We accept all major credit cards for your convenience. I am no longer accepting PayPal on orders from the website. You can order online through our secure website. Our site is secure to ensure our customers on-line safety when shopping by credit card. Illinois residents are charged 8.0% sales tax. Please notify us of any changes in credit card and/or address changes. You will not be charged until the items you ordered are shipped to you.

DATE AND SECURITY CODE BEFORE THE ORDER WILL BE ACCEPTED. WE WILL SEND YOU AN INVOICE FOR PAYMENT WHEN THE ITEM IS IN STOCK. Our website is not always right with shipping charges. Sometimes it is quoted too much, sometimes too little. The basic charge falls somewhere between $16-$20, depending on the weight and how far it's being sent. Our website adds $1 for each additional doll, but that will be adjusted - it is just an estimate. We can usually ship 3-4 dolls per box. Oversized dolls are subject to additional shipping charges. Insurance is required for all packages, and is included in the shipping costs. All packages are packed with care to avoid damage to your dolls. We ship all small packages (for fashions, shoes, other small items) through UPS, except for international. The shipping charge which shows up in your shopping cart is likely to be adjusted when invoiced.
Please note that with the constant rise is gas surcharge fees, shipping fees are more likely to be adjusted to rural areas and for larger packages.
It is the customer’s responsibility to advise us of all address changes. Any packages that are rerouted to another address while in transit are charged an $15.00 service charge. This is per our shipper, not Windy City Dolls & Collectibles. If it is our fault, you will not be charged a service charge.
Overseas shipping quotes will be given to you after an order is placed. Overseas customers are responsible for taxes and duty within their own country - we will not declare "gift" on any customs forms. We ship worldwide. All shipping quotes we give to you will include insurance. (if it is not already included in the shipping service, we will add that into our quote.) The US Post Office is the carrier we use for overseas shipments. There are two types of services, International Express Mail (usually 3-5 days delivery, your package is insured for $100), or International Priority Mail (formerly called Air Parcel Post, 5-10 days, insurance is an extra charge). We prefer to not use Paypal on international orders, because my cart does NOT calculate international shipping. Please email for international shipping quotes, and if you use paypal I will just invoice you for the additional fees.
You must call to request a return authorization from us within 5 days of receipt of the merchandise. Unauthorized returns, COD’s or failure to comply with our return instructions will not be accepted. Customer pays return postage. All items being returned must be unopened, not removed from box, and the original packing material and shipping box must be used for return shipping.
Please call us immediately if your package has been damaged. Return postage for damaged merchandise will be paid by us. We reserve the right to refuse issuing credit for product and shipping costs if we feel that the product was not damaged during shipping.
All sale items are considered final sales, therefore NO RETURNS or exchanges on all sale items.
Credits for return items will be looked on a case by case basis. Our policy is store credit, but we will credit your account if the merchandise cannot be replaced.
PURCHASING YOUR COLLECTION
We do purchase retired Barbie dolls. If you have something you'd like to sell, please email us at email@example.com. If you have a list, we will take a look at it and let you know if we have an interest in purchasing. If you don't have a list, you could also attach photos to your email. Please don't send individual emails, try to group a few into one photo. A list is really preferred, especially on a larger collection.
