A little twist on the classic fairy tale of "Little Red Riding Hood," "Little Red Cap" refers to an earlier title and embodies a new interpretation of the character (the third) from Kish & Company. Riley as "Little Red Cap" stands 7 1/2" tall, though she is bent forward slightly as she strides through the forest. She wears a long sleeved cotton under-dress with a colorful jumper with an embroidered purple felt bodice and full cotton skirt (floral patterns on a black background). Her jaunty boots are red with black trim and buttons and true to her name, she wears a red felt cap over her dark brown circlet braids. Yet another twist is the knapsack she carries on her back. It holds a topsy-turvy doll with Granny on one end and Wolfie on the other, in place of the usual edibles. The topsy-turvy sculpts are resin with a cloth body.

7.5 inch "Tiny Little Match Girl" is a diminutive shadow of Helen Kish's 1995 vinyl 12.5 inch "Little Match Girl." Zsu-Zse's brown eyes give way to blue as she portrays the "Tiny Little Match Girl" from the Hans Christian Anderson tale. She wears a simple tattered dress with a checkered pattern under the burgundy corduroy pinafore with one lone pocket where she keeps her matches. She tries to keep warm with her gray shawl pulled tightly around her shoulders and over her dark brown braided hair...but without shoes in the cold of the winter night, it is futile. It is only in the light of her matches that she finds warmth as she is re-united with her beloved Grandmother.  She has brown hair and eight points of articulation

Jada plays 'Little Mary Had a Lamb.' It's fleece was black as coal, don't you know, and everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to roll!

Little Mary is 7 1/2" tall, not counting the height of the stiffened crown of lace on her ivory cotton, crocheted bonnet. Little Mary's long, empire waist gown is reminiscent of a time before the advent of the horseless carriage, with a full skirt of black & ecru stripes, and a blue-gray print overskirt, fully lined in a contrasting print and finished with cotton lace. The bodice matches the print of the overskirt with a touch of lace at the throat and pristine wrist length, white cotton, bell shaped sleeves trimmed in lace. A long white cotton slip with a deep ruffled flounce holds the skirt away from darling black boots that button up the side almost to her knees. Mary's lamb is sculpted resin; a tender lambkin with deep gray fleece, a light gray face and legs, with a touch of pink on his nose and in his ears. His cart is made of wood and painted in blue-gray, with ivory stripes and tri-colored wheels.
